Arrival & Check-in

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: from 3:00 pm
Check-out: until 11:00 am

If you need an earlier check-in, just let us know. Whenever possible, we'll be happy to accommodate your request.

Is self-check-in available?

Yes! The apartment is equipped with a smart lock and keypad. Before your arrival, you'll receive your personal access code, allowing you to check in whenever it suits you. A physical key is also available inside the apartment for your convenience during your stay.

Is there staff on-site?

No, there is no permanent staff on-site. We are always available by phone or WhatsApp should you need any assistance. Self-check-in offers the greatest flexibility, but if you prefer, we can also arrange a personal welcome.

Parking & Transportation

Is there parking directly at the house?

The apartment is located in Nemi's historic centre, which is a pedestrian area. Therefore, there is no parking directly outside the property.

Several public parking areas are available just 250–300 metres away (approximately a 3–5 minute walk).

Is a shuttle or taxi service available?

While we do not operate our own transfer service, we're happy to help arrange reliable transportation through a trusted local partner.

Whether you need an airport transfer or transport to nearby destinations, simply let us know in advance, and we'll gladly assist with the arrangements.

The Apartment

How many guests can the apartment accommodate?

The apartment comfortably accommodates up to four guests, with one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area.

Is the apartment suitable for children?

Yes, families are very welcome. Please note, however, that the apartment features an internal staircase between the living area and the bedroom. It has not been specially equipped or modified to be baby-proof, so parents of young children should take appropriate precautions.

Is there air conditioning?

At present, the apartment is not equipped with air conditioning. To ensure a comfortable stay, all windows are fitted with fly screens, allowing you to enjoy fresh air without insects. Portable fans are also provided.

Are tea and coffee-making facilities available?

Yes. The fully equipped kitchen includes:

• a traditional Italian Moka coffee maker ("macchinetta")

• a Nespresso®-compatible capsule machine

• a milk frother

• an electric kettle for tea

Is daily housekeeping provided?

No, daily housekeeping is not included. Fresh towels and bed linen are provided for the duration of your stay. If you have any special requirements, please let us know—we'll do our best to accommodate your needs whenever possible.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Free high-speed fibre (FTTH) via Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.

Is the apartment suitable for remote working?

Yes. The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) internet connection, providing fast and reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property—ideal for remote working, video calls and streaming.

Is the apartment accessible for guests with reduced mobility?

Unfortunately, no. The bedroom and main bathroom are located on the first floor and are accessed via an internal staircase, making the apartment unsuitable for guests with significant mobility impairments.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are generally welcome. We kindly ask that dogs are well behaved, accustomed to staying indoors, and do not cause disturbance to neighbours or damage to the property.

Food & Dining

Is there a restaurant on-site?

No, there is no restaurant within the property.

However, one of the great advantages of staying in the historic centre of Nemi is that you'll find numerous cafés, restaurants, wine bars and ice cream shops just a short walk from the apartment.

About Nemi

The photos are stunning! Are the lake views taken directly from the apartment?

Unfortunately not. The apartment itself is located in the heart of Nemi's historic centre. However, all the spectacular lake views shown on our website are within a few minutes' walk. Nemi offers numerous panoramic viewpoints overlooking the volcanic lake, making them an easy and rewarding part of your visit.

How far is Rome?

Rome city centre is approximately 35 km away and can typically be reached in 30–45 minutes by car, depending on traffic. 

Public transport is also available by bus and train, making it easy to visit Rome without a car.
